what an adventurous july 4th weekend

In-laws came into town for the July 4th weekend... it was definitely adventurous. We went canoeing in the Coosa River. It was fun, but not for all. Let's just say my husband couldn't stop laughing at my in-laws tipping over, into the river, a couple of times. It was suppose to be a 4 hour trip, but it became a 5 hour trip. By the end of the trip, we were all extremely tan with the exception of Ryan, who looks like a lobster now. As a conclusion, the family members said that our future summer adventures will be indoors from now on.
