Birthday Weekend

My wonderful hubby took me to Helen, Georgia for my birthday. It was absolutely beautiful. Clear blue skies all weekend. We had a peaceful weekend enjoying God's beauty.

We stayed at this awesome bed & breakfast in Hiawassee, Georiga, called Henson Cove Place Bed & Breakfast. It may not be much of a looker on the outside, but it is one of our favorite rustic bed & breakfast. Not only is the view from the house amazing, the hospitality and the beautiful new cozy & comfy rooms and breakfast was the best! Ask for the Hideway room, that is our favorite.

We adventured out to the highest point of Georgia, Brasstown Bald. And saw the beautiful waterfalls in Anna Ruby Falls.

If you do ever visit Helen, Georgia, you must visit Nacoochee Grill Restaurant. One of the best restaurants in the Southeast. We had their Smoked Salmon Trout Roasted Corn Chowder Soup, BBQ Duck Quesadilla and Cornmeal Dusted Trout. Every bite was heavenly.
